My baby.

For me Parade’s End was simply the best thing I have ever seen on TV. It was so beautiful and horrible at the same time. I’m currently reading the book, and it’s bringing back all the glorious memories of Benedict Cumberbatch being saintly and Rebecca Hall being evil. Ford Maddox Ford was an incredible writer, and it was great to see him being celebrated in period-drama form instead of just another adaptation of Emma or Jane Eyre.

I have to resist hard to stop myself re-blogging every picture of a breton top I see. I cannot, however, resist stripes AND elbow patches.
